How To Get A Flat Belly The Celebrity Way

Have you ever dreamed of having a flat belly like Gwen Stefani or Ryan Reynolds? When it comes to a flat belly, you need to work out and increase the intake of proteins.

If you want to see fast results, try interval training. Working out on a stationary bike can help you build your abs. This is what you should do.  Pedal as fast as you can for one minute. Take a break for 30 seconds. Continue until you have completed 10 reps.

You will not see any further results once your abs have adapted to the same workout. That is why it is important that you have several abdominal exercises.

If you are a man, then you need a harder abs workout. Use the abdominal fitness equipment that is available at your gym. The advantage of this machine is that you can use various weights. Choosing the right weight is important. You want the weight to be heavy enough that it will wear you out after 10 reps. Using heavier weights will not only help you develop lean muscle mass, but your level of testosterone will shoot up and your fat burning capability will increase.

Weight lifting is best done in a standing position. By standing upright, your abs will tighten. Try weight training exercises in a upright posture such as dumbbell squats, overhead press, and barbell curls.

There are other ways to build your abs without using weights. Watch the following videos for simple abs workouts that you can do at home.

Toe Touches

Side Planks

Reverse Crunches

One of my favorite abdominal workouts is to use elliptical machines. I love Stamina 55-1610 InMotion E1000 because it is small enough to be placed anywhere in my home. You can have a great workout on your abdominal muscles because the lack of handlebars forces you to focus on your abs for balancing.

Working out is just one part of the equation for flat belly. The next thing to look at is your diet. Eating healthy is essential in preventing your belly from storing fat. Furthermore, your abs exercises requires energy. So what should you eat? Protein and fiber are definitely a must. What about carbs, fats and sugars? The interval training will enable your body to burn belly fat for many hours after you have finished your workout. So by cutting down the consumption of carbohydrates, fats and sugars, you can get rid of your belly fat faster.
